The 2017 Vine Cliff Terrace Blend is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from our historic, terraced vineyard blocks, complemented by Cabernet Franc from the highest reaches of the site. Tasting this wine seven years from harvest, it shows remarkable finesse and balance. The Cabernet Sauvignon is commanding, offering generous blueberry and blackberry compote tones. The wine’s unmistakable power is framed by thoughtful use of new French oak, which has now integrated seamlessly into the wine as it enters its first peak. The resulting texture is firm but not overbearing thanks to an energetic, spiced finish of clove, nutmeg and vanilla bean.
